SEI is proud to share new insights from a year-long validation study highlighting the performance of its proprietary platform, PubKeeper.
Conducted in partnership with Dr. Rebekah Layton’s PhD Integrated Research on Education and Career Training Lab at the UNC School of Medicine, the study—supported by the 2025 Academy of Educators (AOE) Kathleen Rao Scholarship Project—engages over 2,000 PhD alumni across 15 departments. Recent findings, presented by a university research partner, draw on data from nearly 200 trainees and examine PubKeeper’s efficiency, accuracy, and comprehensiveness in retrieving peer-reviewed citations compared to market alternatives.
Results highlight PubKeeper’s strength as a reliable, cost-effective tool for tracking trainee productivity, while also informing ongoing platform refinement.
